The son of the two former professional triathletes, Munich-born Frederic Funk competed in his first triathlon at just five years old. In 2021 he was crowned the European champion in the Half Distance event – just the latest medal under his belt. With his eyes always firmly on the prize, Frederic is a talent to watch out for.
