Winter Olympian and skeleton athlete, Akwasi Frimpong, zooms down frozen tracks for a living. The Dutch-Ghanaian athlete is a former sprinting champion who switched to skeleton and became the first African athlete to win an elite skeleton competition. Having competed for Ghana in the 2018 Winter Olympics and narrowly missing out on Beijing 2022 due to COVID-19, Akwasi has his sights set on a future full of Olympic medals.
