Marta García Alonso didn’t wait for the spotlight. She started racing as a child in Palencia, Spain, before FC Barcelona came calling, and she joined their athletics division. A middle-distance powerhouse in the 5000m, Marta García Alonso wasn’t content with just training and competing. She also qualified as a doctor in 2022 – a career she plans to return to once she hangs up her spikes. As a founding member of OAC Europe, Marta has firmly established herself among Spain’s top athletes, claiming national titles and international medals.
