Record-breaking distance runner Stewart McSweyn has consistently dominated in the National and Diamond Leagues—before becoming a finalist in the 2021 Tokyo games. A school teacher by trade, part of his journey to the global competitions was down to finding the joy in the solo discipline of distance running, a mindset that no doubt helps in the classroom too. Control over training led to incredible results, fuelled in part by a race-day ritual of pasta and espresso. It's a combination that has cemented Stewart McSweyn's place among the world's best.
