A British-based professional cycling team, INEOS competes at the sport’s highest level on the UCI WordTour. The name INEOS might sound new, but this cycling crew have been summiting mountain tops together since 2009. Previously known as Sky Pro Cycling, this team have claimed ten Grand Tour victories to date, including seven prestigious Tour de France wins across four riders.
Same Team, New Name
On May 1, 2019 INEOS became the sole owners of Tour Racing Limited (the team’s holding company), signifying a fresh start following the conclusion of Team Sky’s decade-long ownership by Sky and 21st Century Fox.
Featuring star riders like Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas, Egan Bernal and Michal Kwiatkowski, the team is focused on keeping up the pace. In June 2019 they achieved three titles alone, with Bernal taking home INEOS’s first-ever victory at the Tour de Suisse.
