Fewer carbon emissions in upper manufacturing, compared to conventional On racing uppers – up to 65% fewer emissions when manufacturing the LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper upper.
Lighter than humanly possible.
In the athlete's mindset, every element counts. So, we applied that same logic to LightSpray™. Minimal parts – for maximum efficiency. The upper is sprayed directly onto a last, bonding to the midsole as it cures. This creates a robot-engineered, high-performance upper in record time, with lower carbon emissions in upper manufacturing than conventional On racing uppers – up to 65% in the LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper upper.

Our teams are discovering scalable alternatives to minimize environmental harm, reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and improve water and energy efficiency.

A new era for Cyclon™
In 2022, we launched Cyclon™ with a subscription for products designed to be recycled. And over time, that dream kept growing. Today, Cyclon™ is our circular services program, through which we aim to take responsibility for the products we sell.

You ran. You recycled. You repeated. And once we received enough used Cloudneo shoes, we shredded the recyclable material to pieces.
We mixed those shredded pieces with leftover materials from manufacturing — combining them to create a Speedboard®
Then, we placed the Speedboard® in the Cloudrise Cyclon 1.1. Same look. Same high-performance technology. But this one marks the next step on our circularity journey.
