Sintayehu Vissa

Born in Ethiopia and raised in Italy, Sintayehu Vissa moved to the US in 2019 to study and run track professionally. She started running after watching the Ethiopian teams at the 2008 Olympics: “It inspired me and made me want to start so I could be more in touch with my culture and where I came from.” Sintayehu’s motto is: La speranza è l’ultima a morire (hope is the last to die).
