Kenyan Philemon Kiriago has become a rising force in mountain running. A keen handball player in his youth, he switched to running after sustaining an injury. Since making his mountain running debut in 2022, he has rapidly climbed the ranks, culminating in victories at the 2023 Mountain Running World Cup and Sierre-Zinal. He also holds two individual silver medals from the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. Part of the Run2gether team, he's a top contender in the Golden Trail World Series competition.
