Belgian dentist, family man and ultrarunner, Karel Sabbe has mastered the art of speed and distance – setting FKTs and smashing records on the world’s most famous trails. 

Sabbe's happy place is in the wilderness. From becoming World Champion at Big's Backyard Ultra in 2020, to setting the Via Alpina FKT in 2021, to making history in 2023 as one of only 17 people to ever finish the notoriously hard Barkley Marathons, Sabbe's foremost drive is natural beauty.
