Sage Hurta-Klecker

Sage Hurta-Klecker, a Buffalo native, grew up in a family of runners, learning early that perseverance is key. "Setbacks are natural," she says, "but growing from them is my greatest strength." Specializing in the 800m, she has become a successful middle-distance runner, with an NCAA indoor title and podium finishes in international competitions. Off the track, Sage is a skilled chef who loves experimenting in the kitchen with her husband, Joe Klecker (also an OAC Global member), and enjoying life with their dogs, Tucker and Mini.
