Benjamin Azamati’s speed wasn’t discovered on the track, but on the football pitch. Growing up in Akim Oda, he played as a striker until his natural pace caught attention, setting him on a new path in sprinting. That shift marked the start of a rapid rise. Developing through the collegiate system, he established himself as one of Ghana’s leading sprint talents, known for his quiet focus and powerful execution. Nicknamed “Silent Velocity,” Benjamin brings a composed intensity to every race. Now competing on the global stage, he continues to carry that mindset forward, driven by discipline and a belief in his own progression.
