      CleanCloud® explained

      What if there was another way to think about carbon emissions? Could we upcycle them to our benefit? We're on a journey to become a more sustainable brand – we want to move the industry away from fossil-based materials. With CleanCloud®, we're turning carbon waste into more sustainable shoes and apparel. But it hasn’t been an easy journey - we had to pioneer an entirely new supply chain.

      CleanCloud® EVA was only made possible because of our partnerships with some of the most innovative companies in biochemicals, production processes, and material innovation in the world.

      The first CleanCloud® shoe

      Meet the Cloudprime: The first-ever shoe made from carbon emissions. It's not available for purchase (at least not yet). But it's proof that CleanCloud® technology turns carbon emissions into performance products.

      Upper: CleanCloud® polyester-based textile, developed in collaboration with Fairbrics.

      Midsole: CloudTec® in CleanCloud® EVA foam.

      Speedboard®: Made using 40% bio-based TPU from castor beans.

      Outsole: 35% upcycled TPU from landfill, developed in collaboration with Novoloop.

      The first CleanCloud® apparel collection

      Time for a collection that's paces ahead – and heading towards a better future with our all-new running apparel. Featuring CleanCloud® polyester, made with 20% recycled carbon emissions, the Pace collection takes us another step away from virgin polyester and fossil-based materials. Did we mention it's ultrasoft? Now, you know.

      Sustainability at On

      We're on a mission to make high-performance products with the lowest possible footprint. CleanCloud® is an important step on that journey. But environmental challenges are complex. There's no singular solution, so we're innovating in many other areas.
