Introducing LightSpray™
Revolutionary technology for our lightest-ever, race-winning shoe.
Lighter than humanly possible.
In the athlete mindset, every element counts. So, we applied that same logic to LightSpray™. Minimal parts – for maximum efficiency. The upper is sprayed directly onto a last, bonding to the misdole as it cures. This creates a robot-engineered, high-performance upper in record time, stripping back assembly to a single step and reducing CO2 by 75%.
CleanCloud®
Call it modern alchemy. We're on a mission to transform carbon emissions into high-performance products.
CleanCloud® technology upcycles carbon emissions. Capturing and using them to create high-performance materials.
Because sustainability and performance can (and should) go hand in hand.
Developed over years of research, the Cloudprime is the first running shoe prototype made from carbon emissions. Its CleanCloud® EVA foam sole is made with 51% CO2.
The Cloudprime isn’t available to purchase (yet) but we’re working on it. We want to use this tech in all of our products.
But we have introduced CleanCloud® fabric to our apparel. Meet the Pace collection.
All pieces are made with CleanCloud® polyester, which is partly made from captured carbon emissions, following the mass balance approach.
But how does it work? CleanCloud® tech captures carbon emissions from the air, ferments them into ethanol, which is dehydrated into a gas and transformed into different types of materials.
It starts with our materials
Materials can make a big difference in reducing the environmental footprint of our products. And we’re big on pioneering new materials and processes. Our teams are discovering scalable alternatives to minimize environmental harm, reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and improve water and energy efficiency.

Moving forward with the Speedboard®
We’ve updated our speed-boosting tech to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
The Speedboard® is a flexible plate in our shoes that enhances energy return. It creates a crisp and responsive feel during toe-off. The result? Even more speed.
Transforming kinetic energy into forward motion.
We identified that it had a significant waste impact – so we set about changing it.
Moving from a die-cutting production process, to injection moulding.
The result? A 90% reduction in waste...
… and a 60% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
