Known for his “textbook home straight kick”, George "Geordie" Beamish, took the 1500m at the World Indoor Championships in 2024 with signature finesse. He continues to reach new heights in both steeplechase and middle-distance, even though the New Zealand record holder for 3000m and 5000m is “just enjoying the process.” When he’s not owning the track, Beamish also hosts a podcast about coffee – and running – with a few of his OAC teammates.
