Joselyn Brea always finds a way. As a child, knee problems caused by ill-fitting shoes kept her away from the track. As an adult, an economic crisis in Venezuela led her to immigrate to Spain. But now, after two decades of effort, she has a growing medal collection and international recognition. She was the first South American female to break the 15-minute barrier for the 5000m. And there’s plenty more to come. “I do not give up easily,” she says.
