FAQs:

What is testing?  Testing is a voluntary programme that involves wearing unreleased prototypes (shoes, apparel, or accessories) based on the activities you carry out and providing weekly feedback on those products.

Is being a tester similar to being a brand ambassador?  No. It’s quite the opposite. You’ll be working with unreleased products that need to be kept confidential. We will ask that no images or opinions are shared with anybody other than us! if you’re interested in becoming a brand ambassador and spreading the joy of ON to a larger audience CLICK HERE

Is it a job? No, testing is a voluntary programme. We do not offer remuneration for testing our products.

What does it involve?  Depending on the product types you’ve applied to test, if selected, you will be asked if you’d like to test a product. We’ll always check you’re available before sending products to you!

You will need to complete a specified amount of “use” of the product on a weekly basis and provide feedback on the product on a regular basis. This will involve inspecting the product to check for quality issues as well as provide your personal feedback on how it performs.

Why testing?  Testing is a key part of the development of all our products. Through the extensive use of our products during the development phase we’re able to collect valuable performance and durability insights to ensure our products are performing to the highest standards.

All your feedback is used in key development stages and can truly influence the way we make our products!

How do I measure my foot length?  Best practice is to go to a footwear store and ask for a foot measurement using a Brannock Device (most footwear retailers will have these available).

Alternatively place a ruler or tape measure perpendicular to a wall, place your foot on top of the measuring device with your heel pushed against the wall & take the measurement of where your longest toe ends.

Please indicate the length of your longer foot.

Can I keep the products I work with? No, we must inspect all the samples so we need them sent back to us after the testing period.

I take part in several activities but don’t know if I qualify to test. What do I need to know?  Don’t be shy, just apply.

We review all our applications to ensure that there is a sustainable and healthy relationship between us and you testing. We know you do what you do for fun and we want to make sure you keep enjoying your sports/activities if you’re part of the testing programme!

What happens after I apply?  We’ll review your application to ensure there is a match that is sustainable between your activities and what testing requires.

We review our applications on a monthly basis. You will get an answer but it won’t be immediate.

Are there any language requirements to be a tester? Being an international company we do ask that feedback be provided in English to ensure it’s understood by all our collaborators.
